We are now looking for a Senior Events Fundraising Manager to manage and grow our challenge events portfolio in order to engage and inspire members of the public to join us and financially support our work.

This an exciting time to join the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. We are rapidly growing the fundraising team and have ambitious plans to generate significant income growth through incredible events. You will play a key role in helping us achieve this goal.

As Senior Events Fundraising Manager you will take responsibility for line managing our challenge events team whilst also leading on the delivery of special high value, complex projects within the team. You will provide support and expert advice as well as work closely with the Head of Events to implement our event fundraising strategy. You will be involved in developing, managing, and monitoring complex event budgets, in addition to overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns and supporter journeys. You will also build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external contacts, to help us implement and grow our offering. You will use supporter insight, data and external trend analysis to identify opportunities to develop our challenge programme too. Important will be the ability to ensure fundraising activities are of the highest standards and provide supporters with the best possible experience, whilst maximising income for our work.

You must have experience of managing and delivering complex events with significant income targets, including international challenge/sports events and experience in line management. You will be target orientated and comfortable setting and overseeing budgets.

Able to manage multiple projects, you will be highly organised and effective at prioritising and meeting deadlines. You will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
