Commercial Support Engineer

Salary: £54,000 per year

Our client is a thriving, international, engineering company who manufacture a variety of capital machinery for protein and food industry all over the world.

This global operation with many companies in their portfolio employs a large workforce of dynamic and loyal staff who are experts in their field.

Due to continued success a new role has been created for a Commercial Support Engineer at the Norwich operation.

Reporting to the Commercial Support Manager you will strengthen the internal sales team with the aim of facilitating growth across their global markets.

You will handle customer enquiries, generate costings and compile technical proposals, integrating other brands as required with the group.

Main duties & responsibilities:

* To provide commercial, sales and technical support to the front-line sales team, including costings, proposals, project plans and presentational material.

* To support both internal and external stakeholders in terms of project documentation and planning.

* To provide a technical and commercial portal for allocated multi brand projects, ensuring timely and accurate sharing of information and feedback.

* To assist with maintaining the companies CRM system.

* To assist with maintaining the companies pricing structure.

* To assist with compiling factory and line layouts.

* To assist with Project management on larger scale projects.

* To provide support for corporate exhibitions and events on a Global basis.

We are looking for a commercial support engineer who has experience with scoping projects, including costings, proposals, project plans and presentational material from a technical background, ideally with capital equipment.

This role could also suit a design/project engineer who is looking to develop into the commercial side of engineering.

Salary to suit experience up to £54,000 ‘000, contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
