Installation / Project Manager – Fire Protection

£35k basic + bonus. £50k OTE.

Responsibility at branch level for the management of fire systems projects and, where applicable, the projects engineering team, to achieve a successful, profitable and commercial delivery of fire protection operations, enabling the company to achieve its business objectives

The role will include but are not limited to the following responsibilities: –

– Ensure work is carried out in accordance with SHE legislation and company policies.
– Technical vetting of installation estimates.
– Completion of site surveys.
– Completion of system design to appropriate standards and legislative requirements.
– Scheduling and management of system installations.
– Project management and site visits.
– Sales costing & design support
– Management of commissioning / installation engineer team.
– Management of subcontractors.
– Order, receipt and issue of install materials.
– Management and resolution of technical queries.
– Carrying out engineer & installation technical and Q.A. audits.

Experience/Knowledge Required
– Full Driver’s License.
– Working knowledge of BS5306 and other British Standards within the fire protection industry.
– FIA Modules 1,2,3,& 5.
– ICEL Emergency Lighting design
– Computer literate.
– Experience of managing large installation projects.
– City & Guilds / BTEC Standard electrical or electronic qualification
