Role Information:
In support of their growth plans, my client is looking to expand their sales team and are looking to recruit a National Technical Sales Manager. As the National Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following:-
* Building and maintaining good customer relationships to ensure market position is optimised
* Developing customer relationships from a technical perspective within key markets with the sales team
* Leading on technical aspects and supporting the field sales team with business and product development
* Development and management of specification and product compliance training
* Creating sales opportunities by providing technical knowledge and in turn increasing the sales portfolio
* Developing approvals
* Producing accurate management information including forecasting
The Successful National Technical Sales Manager candidates will ideally have the following:-
* Previous experience in a Technical customer facing sales lead role
* Experience in the aggregates sector
* Technical knowledge of aggregate compliance testing
* The successful candidate will be great at dealing with people – particularly at building relationships.
* The ability to understand specifications and to competently demonstrate compliance whilst being an excellent communicator, in writing and face-to-face.
* Computer Literacy with an in-depth knowledge of Market Intelligence Tools and Microsoft Office
* Self-motivated, methodical, persistent, confident and articulate, accurate and flexible.
