Company information: My client is a successful and expanding company within the metals recycling sector. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for Logistics Co-ordinator/Transport Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. Monday-Friday Days based role.

You must have the following;

* Excellent attention to detail

* Previous experience working within a Freight Forwarding or Shipping environment

* Experience in Excel & Outlook

Reporting to the Logistics and Production Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the logistics and transport department. The successful Logistics Co-ordinator/Transport Co-ordinator will be responsible for:

* Ensuring paperwork for incoming and outgoing loads is accurate to ensure compliance with both the EA and UK customs as well as customs clearance within EU.

* To ensure planning on incoming vehicles is organised in a way to allow for smooth running of the processing plants and unloading areas.

* Liaising with external suppliers and customers to make sure their requirements are taken care of in a timely and professional manner.

* Liaising with external transport companies to make sure all required loads are covered both inbound and outbound for a competitive price.

* Logging all records on internal systems and ensuring they are recorded accurately.
