The role
We are currently recruiting for a Software Support Developer. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this role will have responsibility for the support and maintenance of bespoke software systems developed at Simplify.
As the Software Support Developer, you will have the ability to demonstrate a broad understanding and an aptitude for IT, with a demonstrable understanding of software development in a commercial environment. The incumbent will have previous exposure to a variety of software support environments, with a particular focus on database driven, data processing systems and web services.
You should also have an appreciation and familiarity with software development processes. You will show a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to IT product support. Take a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a role where they can develop, and organically grow within the business. You will be an excellent communicator dealing with key stakeholders across the group.
