Position: Field Service and Commissioning Engineer
Location: West Yorkshire
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £28,800 ‘000 per annum +, Company Van, Laptop, Mobile, OTE £35K +
Job Purpose: Responsible for carrying servicing and testing of air handling and containment product range ensuring compliance on customers sites across the UK and worldwide.
Duties and key responsibilities
1. Commissioning & Servicing
*Carry out testing of all relevant product range
*Ensure correct execution of Company documentation
*Carry out work activities in accordance with specifications and procedures
*Provide reports on re-work and design errors
*Ensure that all sales prospects, enquiries and quotations are professionally managed and delivered to the customer in accordance with procedures
*Maintain allocated test equipment, ensure calibration is current and certification is available for issue to clients
*Work within the parameters of the company production schedule
*Submit status reports on a regular basis
*Actively promote the after sales service
*Travel and time away from home.
Experience Required
*Engineering background – Mechanical or Electrical commissioning experience – Essential
*Air flow, AHU, Air Conditioning / HVAC / fume cupboard / air extraction experience – Essential
*A good attitude to promote new sales – Essential
*Experience of Air Flow Testing – Desirable
*Experience of Filter integrity testing – Desirable
