Resident Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Days)

Salary: £26,000 per year

Due to recent contract and continued business growth, we are recruiting for a Resident Electrical Engineer to work for a leading Facilities Management company to join a prestigious static site near Westminster in Central London.

You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a day to day basis across the allocated sites. At times you may also support with minor new works. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in Electrical maintenance within commercial environments. Experience in Mechanical/ Plumbing disciplines is also highly desirable.

Candidates must be time served and electrically qualified with 17th OR 18th Edition.

Hours – Monday – Friday 7.30 – 4.30 (40 hours) + No Call Out 

This is a permanent position based on Days with a large amount of overtime available paid at premium rates after 40 hours – realistic earnings of £6,000 – £12,000 in OT available 3

Candidates must be able to also obtain security clearance for site therefore must have a clear crimilar record.

Responsibilities

– PPM maintenance

– Reactive maintenance

– Carry out test, servicing, diagnostic, repairs and calibrate advance electrical and mechanical installations

– Work safely and in accordance to Health and Safety procedures

– Perform maintenance tasks and other associated tasks on any part of the site as and when required

– Operate as part of an effective professional maintenance team

Skills & Attributes

– Time Served Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience in a Electrical maintenance role.

– 17th / 18th Edition qualified

– City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ equivalent qualifications

– Experience preferably in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services back ground

– Experience in other engineering disciplines EG Mechanical/ Plumbing

– Knowledge of Legionella Safety Management

– Trustworthy and reliable

– Must be able to secure security clearance
