An Electrical Design Engineer urgently required for a manufacturer of engine test equipment. You will be responsible for the design of machinery automation within the automotive industry using Eplan P8 and have a responsibility for the following:

– Produce specifications for bought out electrical equipment and parts lists for manufacture of control systems
– Povide technical support and to liase with other departments
– Provide information to enable technical manuals and test procedures to be produced
– Become familiar with appropriate electrical standards
– Provide engineering support, in test and on site if necessary
– Assist with other reasonable engineering duties consistent with skills and qualifications
– Implement company procedures and safety policy

To be considered for this position, you are expected to have experience of working with electrical design packages, particularly Eplan P8. Experience of working within the automotive sector is ideal.
