They have more than 40 facilities across the United Kingdom and with their turnover being in the billions, they are investing heavily in new machinery and looking to recruit numerous staff members to add to their current specialist team, which will mean working on modern machinery. They have over 50,000 employees and across the many sites and need a couple of team leaders to help the business move forward.

The Role of an Engineering Team Leader/Site Supervisor:
Working alongside the Engineering Manager, this new role of a Team Leader/Site Supervisor, will be responsible for all equipment onsite. You will be in charge of 7 or 8 maintenance engineers, including 2 or 3 new staff members which you will train and develop. You will use your full range of man management skills to get the best out of a skilled team and when necessary will assist your Engineers with minor hands on tasks.

Key Skills:
The successful Team Leader/Engineering Supervisor must have a strong electrical or mechanical technical background, with related engineering qualifications, ideally degree level. You must have strong leadership skills, with a number of years’ worth of experience of managing a team of Engineers and having experience of continuous improvement projects would be an added extra benefit. Ideal backgrounds would be from Engineering Supervisors or Team Leaders from Food, Plastics, Packaging and Power Stations.

Salary: £48,000

Commutable from: Cromer, Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Dereham.

Candidates may have relevant experience having held roles as a: Engineering Manager, Maintenance Team Leader, Engineering Supervisor, Maintenance Lead Engineer and Chief Engineer.
