Job Role: Money Advice & Benefits Team Leader

Salary: £19.2 – £21.6ph

Essential: Must have a full UK Drivers Licence

A local housing association are looking for a Money Advice and Benefits Team Leader. The role entails leading and supervising a team and overseeing the day to day running of the Money Advice & Benefits service by providing a comprehensive strategic, training and advice service on a full range of welfare benefits and debt advice enabling the team to deliver high quality advice and support on welfare benefits and debt advice to its residents and staff.

Essential Criteria:

Full UK driving licence and able to travel independently and effectively throughout the company’s area of operation
Previous management/team leader experiencer
Proven experience of providing welfare benefits and debt advice and the statutory framework, preferably in a housing related environment
Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation

Desirable Criteria:

Money Advice Certificate or Debt License practice, eg debt advice practitioner (or working towards this)
