Production Team Leader

A large, internationally renowned manufacturer in the Burton/Swadlincote area of Derbyshire – our client requires a Permanent Night Shift Production Team Leader, to oversee a team of production operatives.

Initially, the training will be on day shifts before the role reverts to night shifts on a permanent basis therefore you need to be able to commit to this shift pattern, and have experience in a Team Leader capacity in a production/manufacturing/warehouse environment.

The successful candidate’s main duties and responsibilities will include:

Staff supervision (you will report into the production supervisor)
Maintain H&S records
Raise work orders
Liaison with the planning department
Maintaining production records
Scanning products
FLT work (counterbalance and reach license required)
Stock checks
Loading/unloading (must be physically fit)

In terms of previous experience:

*Minimum 12 months in a team leader capacity within a similar environment within the last 12-18 months
*ERP knowledge
*Counterbalance and reach FLT experience (within last 12 months)

In addition to the basic salary you also get a 25% shift allowance (for early and afternoon shifts) and 33% shift allowance for night shifts. There is also a generous package including life protection cover and contributory pension scheme.
