Salary: £48,000 per year
Chemical Process Design Engineer’s job. c£40,000 basic. Chartered Process design/lead project role within long-established manufacturer with Blue Chip client base. Diverse role, with responsibility for Engineering Design, SHE and Operations/Technical for this industrial specialist operating a COMAH accredited chemicals plant.

The job will involve:
• Process and plant design, including definition of scope, specifying equipment and assessment of hazards.
• Seeing projects through from design to operational stages, including installation, commissioning and HAZOP assessments
• Act as Project Leader or working on your own smaller projects
• Developing a safe culture for operating, to comply with the latest Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
This job will suit:
• Chartered Chemical Engineer with process design/project/SHE expertise.
• Exposure to hazardous areas legislation, HAZOPs assessments and COMAH accredited sites
• Strong SHE focus, combined with up to date knowledge of regulations and standard codes of practice.
