Public Health Design Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

VNA Recruitment are looking for a Public Health Design Engineer (Senior or Intermediate level) to join one of our clients based in Billericay, Essex

Role Purpose:

• The role would suit a Public Health Design Engineer looking for a new challenge with a company that can offer a long term opportunity for growth and development
• Responsible for providing public health design drawings/ specifications for UK and some international projects
• You will be working on varied projects including; high end houses, hotels, student blocks, offices, parks, restaurants etc
• All designs to be carried out using AutoCAD, via our Cad department and must meet recognised public health engineering standards and all current Health and Safety legislation
• You will be expected to work on multiple projects at the same time
• You will be expected to attend meetings and sites for inspections

Role Requirements:

• Qualified in Public Health Engineering to HNC/ HND Level; degree level preferred 
• A good knowledge of Public Health Regulations and design standards
• Previous experience with sprinkler design and underground drainage/SUDS experience would be an advantage
• To be conversant with Hevacomp, Cad and MS office etc
• Able to read, understand and interpret public health drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of mechanical systems would be highly advantageous
• Proficient with Public Health Design in AutoCAD would be beneficial
• Full UK Driving licence

Role Remuneration:

• Salary negotiable

• Full time Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week
