Account Manager / New Business Development

Our client is an established finance company based in Glenfield, Leicestershire. Due to continued success and expansion plans they are looking to add to their Sales Team and are able to offer fast track career progression opportunities to successful candidates.

This is an office based telephone role, speaking to new and existing suppliers with the aim of achieving profit and revenue targets.

Full training will be provided, with an initial 2 week induction and training days every month. There are many benefits associated with this role, such as regular trips abroad and regular social events.

This role comes with a basic Salary: £26,000with a realistic O.T.E of £35,000, plus a car allowance. The commission is also uncapped.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify new suppliers within your geographical area

• Ensure all prospects are recorded onto the company database

• Develop and maintain a satisfactory business relationship with designated existing customers

• Identify key decision makers and develop a relationship to insure repeat business and additional revenue streams where applicable

• Build alliances within the suppliers to leverage referral of sales prospects of their customer / supplier base

• Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s business needs, future plans and decision making processes

• Act upon telephone enquiries from customers regarding problems they may have

• When appropriate, negotiate pricing

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Sales / account management experience and skills (experience is less important, however having the core skills required is essential)

• Hardworking and career driven

• Sociable and confident

• Strong rapport building and communication skills
