3D Designer

The Company

Our client is well established in the world of brand activation and in-store marketing, creating effective solutions for over 60 years. Creative is at the heart of what they do and their in-house design studio is delivering some amazing work for an impressive list of leading UK retailers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Junior and Middleweight 3D Designer to join this talented team. They love to invest in aspiring 3D Designers and give someone an opportunity to get their foot on the ladder, they also love to encourage and develop 3D Designers who are already established and ready for a new challenge.

The Role

As Junior or Middleweight 3D Designer you will work collaboratively alongside other Designers and the Creative Director, on exciting and engaging creative solutions for Retail and Customer Journey environments. You will be nurtured to work quickly and efficiently on a range of design briefs and thrive on the speed this studio demands! You will hit the ground running with your knowledge of 3D Studio Max, and with your experience in delivering 3D design solutions for Retail, Point of Sale, Interiors, Product and Experiential Marketing. Your positive attitude will make you a valuable team player!

The Candidate

You must have:

• 1-5 years 3D experience
• A passion for retail, 3D design and graphics and a good understanding of Brand Communication
• A creative mind that needs unleashing with a good technical understanding of 3D design
• If you are at Junior level, you will have been using your 3D skills in a marketing/retail/sales focussed environment.
• If you are Middleweight level, you will have creative/design studio experience in a 3D creative/design role
• Good hand drawing skills to enable internal communication, ability to collate presentations and create sample boards.
• Basic 3D modelling skills
• The ability to understand technical drawings, with some knowledge of all relevant manufacturing processes, finishes and material specification
• The ability to produce effective creative at pace, fulfilling the client brief in all instances and delivering on time and within budget
• Excellent knowledge of Autodesk 3D Studio Max (or similar), Adobe CS6 & Microsoft Office
• Graduate level education with a qualification in a relevant 3D creative discipline
