Network Designer (Fibre / Hcl / GIS) – Remote

Salary: £284.4 – £402 per day

A Networkl Designer is required for this Global IT compnay. The main function of the Network Designer – HFC is the production of accurate, cost effective and efficient network design and / or drafting for the CATV industry and responsible for checking the quality of production designs, provide effective communications with customers, peers and management and supply written reports on status of assigned projects when required.

Experience required

• Knowledge and experience of using GIS (Q-GIS, 3-GIS, CONSOF FibreplanIT)
• Previous experience in Civils’ route planning
• Good understanding of PON & Fibre Optics
• CAD design and / or drafting from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
• in Lode Data Design, SpatialINFO or BentleyCOMMs
• Must have a valid Driver’s Licence
• Strong computer skills
• Good communications skills
• Coax, Ethernet and Fiber handling experience preferred
• Have a sound knowledge of RF systems design and / or drafting

Remote working but do need flexibility to be able to visit site occasionally circa. once a quarter
