Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

You’ll join our knowledgeable design team in Bromsgrove. As a Designer / Senior Designer you’ll be a valued member of our dedicated and knowledgeable team producing engineered timber drawings for products such as roof trusses, Posi-Joist and JJI-Joists ready for manufacture! As a Designer of timber roof trusses you will be part of a team providing a high quality, single point of contact design service to our customers; predominantly National House builders, builders merchants and large contractors.

Working from CAD and/or PDF drawings, you’ll liaise closely with our customers to produce detailed, accurate designs using our Pamir/Mitek software suite. You will communicate with our production teams to ensure they have the relevant information to manufacture and deliver the final product to the customer’s timescales.

Is the Designer role right for me?

· Timber Roof truss and/or Engineered Floor (Joist) design experience

· Mitek 20/20 / Pamir software, CAD, ITW or Wolf Systems experience

· Previous design experience in engineered timber

· The ability to develop positive customer relationships

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
