Transport / Plant Manager

Salary: £57,600 – £60,000 per year

Our client is an established, family run civil engineering business based in the Ashbourne area of Derby. Due to ongoing success, they are looking to appoint a Transport / Plant Manager to complement their existing team.

This is considered a key role and will entail:

• Management of maintenance records for all vehicles, plant and machinery to include obtaining certification, servicing records, tachos, movement licences, etc
• Checking vehicle / load weights and administering accordingly
• Route planning when there is a movement licence in operation
• Hiring in of various pieces of plant when required to include arranging delivery, return, obtaining quotes, etc

It is envisaged that someone who has carried out a similar role would be best suited and you will need an operator’s CPC for dealing with lorries, tachographs, movement records, etc.
