Senior Payroll Officer – Remote

Salary: £16.8 per hour

A leading global automaker and provider of innovative mobility solutions are currently looking to recruit a Senior Payroll Advisor for 6 months, on a full time basis 37.5 hours per week. This is a remote role with occasional travel required to Coventry.

Hourly rate between £16.8and £18.00 per hour dependant on experience.

Role to involve:

* As well as payroll processing tasks, you will act as the first escalation level for queries from the team and stakeholders

* Be the primary payroll contact for maternity related enquiries and concerns

* Run pre-commit reports for payroll checking and support the team to resolve discrepancies / queries

* Perform month end & year end duties such as producing monthly payroll reporting

* Coordinate and compile P11Ds, pension re-enrolment and other employee benefits in payroll

* Support the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager to deliver business projects from a payroll perspective and deliver process improvements/efficiency’s

Candidate Profile

* Experience working in payroll and knowledge of UK payroll legislation

* Ability to work well and should be a great team player

* Customer focused attitude

* Good analytical skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail

* Able to effectively communicate in a sensitive manner with others, as well as explaining the implications of decisions taken

* Able to work on multiple routine and non-routine tasks, and provide timely and accurate responses to stakeholders * With the highest integrity and be able to deal with personal information in confidence.
