Commercial Gas Engineer (Mobile)

My client are a FTSE 250 business providing facilities, property and asset management for some of the biggest public and private sector businesses. They specialise in strategic outsourcing and energy services, bringing together expertise and capabilities to help their clients achieve their organisational goals. In simple terms, they find out what their clients want and use their people and technology to help them get it as efficiently as possible. They have revenues in excess of £1.8bn and a reputation for being the best in their business.

My client are in need of multiple Commercial Gas Engineers to cover various locations around the country. Roles will be mobile and cover a patch local to your home location. All roles will come with a vehicle.

Main duties

Need strong mechanical background for maintenance, covering gas boilers and HVAC maintenance
Safely and efficiently install, maintain and repair plant equipment
To carry out diagnostic and fault finding
Carry out routine servicing and commissioning to plant
Identify areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements
Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time
Understand and comply with policies and procedures
Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner

Person Specification & Qualifications

Previous experience within this type of commercial gas boiler & chiller servicing role.
Knowledge and experience in carrying out PPM, fault diagnostics and rectification on commercial gas appliances and HVAC equipment (FCU’s, AHU’s, door heaters, chlorifiers, pumps and associated ancillary equipment)
Commercial gas qualifications COCN1, CODNCO1 are essential
