Commercial Gas Engineer

We are currently seeking a Commercial gas engineer in the North London/Hertfordshire area

An ideal candidate would hold the following qualifications.
They need at least 3 years’ experience and hold the following ACS
competencies.

CCN1 – Core domestic gas safety

CENWAT Domestic central heating & water heating appliances or CEN1
and WAT1

CKR1 – Domestic cooking appliances

HTR1 – Domestic fires & wall heaters

CPA 1 – Combustion Analyser

COCN1 – Core commercial heating gas safety or CODNCO1 – Changeover
domestic to commercial N.G. Safety

CDGA1 – Commercial direct fired heating equipment

CIGA1 – Commercial indirect fired heating equipment

CORT1 – Commercial radiant tube & plaque heaters

ICPN1 – Installation 1st fix of commercial pipework

TPCP1 – Testing & purging of pipework (IGE/UP/1)

TPCP1a – Testing & purging of pipework (IGE/UP/1A)

BMP1 – Boosters Associated Controls & pipework

CCCN1 – Core commercial catering N.G. safety or CODC1 – Commercial
catering changeover core

COCAT1 – Changeover domestic appliances to commercial catering
appliances or COMCAT1 & COMCAT3

CONGLP1 – Core domestic NG to LPG fuel changeover

UHW Unvented Hot Water

ACS qualifications should have at least 18 months to run before
re-certification is needed

It would be an advantage if applicants also held the following competencies

Oil experience or Oftec qualifications

Safety passport

IPAF powered access licence

PASMA tower scaffold erection or equivalent

I am seeking someone with commercial experience. (not just domestic)

We offer 20 days holiday, increasing by 1day a year to a max of 25

Clean driving licence. VW transporter with no private use

Sick pay after qualifying period

6 months probationary period
Due to the nature of our work it will be a condition of employment that
all prospective employees will be subject to CRB checks which you will
need to pass.

Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience and qualifications.
