Senior Commercial Manager – Engineering / Mobile Telco
Location: Commutable from Southampton / Salisbury / Portsmouth / Basingstoke / Reading / Newbury / Guildford / Andover
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join a leading mobile telecoms organisation that continues to work on leading, cutting edge projects in both the private and public sector. This role will appeal to a Commercial Manager who’s background stems ideally from Mobile Telco or large scale Engineering companies gaining confidence from dealing with complex contractual obligations and following due dilligence with terms and conditions.
Working in a small team you will be concentrating on a business critical, large scale project with a delivery date set for 2020 – 2021 and will be tasked with building key relationships across strategic customers and stakeholders in order to hit this date. The role requires you to showcase gravitas and skills to work proactively with blue chip customers, government departments and regulatory bodies. A blend of financial and legal understand will be needed.
The Commercial manager will be responsible for:
+ Leading the creation of £1M+ grant applications, approvals from customers and government entities and subsequent reconciliation
+ Ensure compliance with the commercial agreements

+ Planning – ability to ensure commercial objectives are delivered
The Commercial Manager will be able to show the following skills / qualifications:
* Qualification &/or Degree or equivalent in Commercial Management, Law, Engineering
* Knowledge and experience of working in the IT, engineering or mobile telco industries including contract delivery of high value IT and engineering products and associated installation services
* Strong relationship building skills – with external customers/stakeholders and senior business colleagues
* Experience in maintaining customer relationships and establishing a high level of credibility with both internal customers and external customers/stakeholders.
* Knowledge and experience of technology based supply market environment
