Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year
Our client is a well-respected Civil Engineering Company with various workstreams including a Highways Division. Due to an increase in workload and renewed contracts they are looking to strengthen the team with an experienced Contracts Manager (Highways).
KEY ESSENTIALS:
* As a Contracts Manager (Highways) you will be responsible for full Operational responsibility of Highways Maintenance projects including Street lighting and Street Furniture Projects
* You will be required to monitor and maintain performance in relation to the Companys Policies and Procedures, in particular Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality
* As a Contracts Manager (Highways) you will be responsible for organising and managing the internal resources and monitor the performance of the including requirement for audits to be undertaken as per audit plan – managing any non conformance and corrective actions
* The role will include managing Site Agents and Sub-contractors so you will need to have excellent communication skills
* As a Contracts Manager (Highways) you will be responsible for overseeing Commercial aspects of various projects including running a Profit and Loss account
* Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships and holding regular meetings
* As a Contracts Manager (Highways) you will be responsible for managing Plant and Transport including Defect Reports, Tracker Management Systems and VOSA (operator licence) requirements

* As Contracts Manager (Highways) it is essential that you have previously worked managing similar Highways related Projects at a Senior level
* You should ideally be qualified with NRSWA & CSCS Supervisors and IOSH accreditation
* This is a role that requires excellent organisational skills with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety and Man-management
* You should have excellent Commercial and Sub-contract management skills
* This is an excellent position that offers up to £66,000 – £78,000 + package
