Contracts Manager – Groundworks

Salary: £26.4 per hour

Development and monitoring of training plans for skills and health and safety

 Planning labour requirements and programming gangs

 Maintaining industry standard compliance for quality and health and safety

 Co-ordination with CITB and training authorities for grant aiding

 Liaison with Sales Manager for programming and contract profiles

 Site surveys with Quantity Surveyor or Sales Manager for full package works

 Pre-let meeting attendance

 Pre-commencement site visit

 Generate site specific risk assessment

Routine quality / health and safety audits

 Co-ordinating health and safety inspections by third party advisor

 Ensure conformity to programmes

 Maintain dialogue with client team

 Log and resolve complaints

 Liaise with Quantity Surveyor for timely valuation of works

 New starter inductions

 Tool box talks

 Minimise waste by arranging transfer of surplus materials

 Maintain a daily diary by co-ordination with chargehands

 Maintain project file including hard copies of all correspondence and telecon notes
