Transport Planner

Salary: £26,000 – £36,000 per year

I am working with a manufacturing company based in Wibsey, Bradford, BD6, who are looking for an experienced transport planner to join their existing transport team.

The role will involve but will not be limited to:

• planning the vehicle fleet routes to ensure maximum efficiencies to deliveries and the company
• Ensuring deliveries of goods are delivered in a timely manner to the customer
• Ensuring loads are organised and planned in line with the varying changes within the business.
• Planning and allocating routes for vehicles
• Increasing fleet utilisation and maximise on profitability for the company
• Ensure maintenance of the fleet is kept up to date and in line with policies 
• Working closely with the transport manager to ensure day to day hours of the drivers are logged and maximised on
• Ensuring all health and safety & road traffic legislation’s are adhered to
• Assisting with managing KPI’s of drivers and transport staff
• Processing and analysing telematics data
• Monitoring vehicle tracking systems for ETA’s, returning loads and employee performances

To be considered for this role you must have experience within a busy, fast paced transport planning role, as due to the urgency of this requirement training will be limited.

The working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm, and there is free on site car parking.

My client is offering a starting salary of up to £26,000 – £36,000 32 days holidays, staff discounts, referral program, pension scheme and much more.
