HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR – WEST SUSSEX – PERMANENT – c£35,000
Health & Safety Advisor required to join a food manufacturing business based in West Sussex.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that H&S is managed on site and that it complies with management procedures, in-house standards, legislative compliance and enforcement rules H&S BS OHSAS 18001 procedures are being followed, developed and audited to ensure compliance and that they are in line with BSI standards, current legislation and industry best practices. To manage behavioural safety programs, accident, near miss and protection safety systems in line with procedural requirements
Suitable applicants will have proven experience of working as a Health & Safety Advisor within a food or beverage production facility. You hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with a working knowledge of behavioural H&S.
The salary on offer is £36,000 – £42,000with excellent benefits and the site is commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, Petersfield, Chichester, Havant, Shoreham and Midhurst.
