Finance Manager

Our client, a division of a £1billion global group of companies which has grown to service customer needs across many sectors. The modern day organisation has diversified and strengthened its portfolio across a number of service businesses and they operate a values-driven culture as the foundation for its sustainable success. As part of this growth they are looking to strengthen their finance team within their employment services operation.

This is a fast moving, highly complex, vibrant business that requires an experienced individual who is looking to develop their career within in a key division of a truly international organisation.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in the senior management team making strategic and commercial decisions as well as having overall responsibility for the accounts and financial reporting.

Main responsibilities for this position include; financial process improvements, financial reports, reporting and analysis of customer trends, sale and margin activities and the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts.
You will be heavily involved in the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasts, support of the payroll team where necessary, the management of credit control risk and to assist with new business tender/quotation processes where required.

The ideal candidate will possess a professional accountancy qualification with a minimum of five years of previous accounting and financial management experience and will have managed teams of people.

You will have strong IT skills, with detailed knowledge of Excel, excellent time management skills – delivery of work on time and inline with the required standard.

You will hold a full UK driving licence, with the flexibility and willingness to travel.
