Part-Qualified Management Accountant

Salary: £240 – £288 per day

Motorclean has grown, innovated, and evolved over 4 decades, to become a major player in the Integrated Automotive Services sector and is award-winning.

They provide comprehensive vehicle preparation and support services to dealerships, auction houses, motor retailers, and fleets across the UK. These include Valeting, Smart Repair, Delivery & Collection, Premises Cleaning, Vehicle Video, and Imaging.

They are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join the team where you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of management accounts across the group alongside providing all-around accounting support in this varied role.

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Periodic P & L Analysis and cost analysis – to include the monthly Management reporting pack

· Extraction of data for subcontractor and payroll labour journals

· Reconcile the purchase ledger and provide analysis and upload invoices

· Bank reconciliations

· Month-end Journals to include reclass, Accruals, Prepayments

· Balance sheet reconciliations- ensuring sufficient information and backup for balances

· VAT Returns

· Invoice discounting reconciliations and subsequent submissions

· Manage invoice discounting Monthly rebate submissions

· Putting on Fast payment to be signed and sealed off for approval

· Periodic P & L Analysis and cost analysis – to include the monthly Management reporting pack

· Oversea the reporting of Aged Debtors by the Credit controller

· Support the Group Financial controller with any adhoc reporting within the team

· Support the Group Financial controller with Audit working papers and supporting requirements for Year-end Audits

Person Specification

Ideally, you will have an Accounting Degree and or studying towards an Accounting professional qualification and have a minimum of two years management accounting experience. Experience working with SQL and BI reporting and AOI functionalities alongside strong Excel skills would be an advantage.
