Business Administration Apprenticeship

Based at the UK Highways M40 office we are looking for an apprentice who is looking to develop and create a career working on the highways.

This is predominantly an office based role however there will be a need to develop towards Highway Inspector status. This will involve going out onto the network with experienced inspectors to carry out detailed asset inspections.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensure accurate and effective collation of data is recorded and input correctly onto paper and electronic data collection systems as required.
* Support site inspections in accordance with the Trunk Road Maintenance Manual and Routine Maintenance Management System.
* Understand contract compliance on data quality management issues
* Assist with the report preparation recording and logging of Asset data.
* Assist with the establishment and implementation of a programme of inspections and investigations.
* Administration functions associated with. Highway & Bridge Asset records.
* Assist with Highway Maintenance Planning
* Assist with commercial process
* Assist with the delivery of maintenance functions.
* Typing/filing/scanning/photocopying/diary entries/post
* Asset Data Input onto computerised system
Taking and producing meeting minutes

The candidate who is successful will be placed onto the business administration apprenticeship which will involve learning and give them the chance of achieving a Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration.
