Finance Manager

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Sewell Wallis are working with a fast-growing, ambitious group who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager into a newly created role. The company has a great culture and this is a pivotal position.

The Finance Manager will join the team with the aim to increase our capabilities and better support the business.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring monthly and annual accounts are prepared timely and accurately as well as developing current financial processes. The role will have the sole responsibility for the accounts the largest trading entity within the group.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will have influence on the future of a successful fast-growing company. They will be a confident communicator with attention to detail and possess analytical skills to answer questions quickly and accurately. They will help manage, support, and develop three junior team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES;
– Managing a small team of Assistant Accountants
– Deliver management accounts timely and accurately
– Full balance sheet review
– Partnering with branch directors to help them understand their accounts
– Supporting the GFC through continued growth and further acquisitions

THE PERSON;
– Newly qualified or latter stages part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
– High attention to detail
– Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem solving, happy to get involved
– Strong communicator amongst all levels, both written and verbal
– Good standard of systems and Excel ability
– Self-motivated, take ownership and be proactive
– Managerial Experience preferred
