Eden Brown Education are recruiting an Employer Engagement Officer based in Romford, this role is on a temp to perm basis.

The ideal candidate will be central to our students’ work and industry placement opportunities by securing excellent work opportunities that support their area of study.

You will support the T Level qualification and Work Experience requirements, working closely with various stakeholders, including our sales and curriculum teams and key employers, to provide them with students that are ‘work ready’. They will have ownership of the whole recruitment journey, from setting up the initial meetings with the employers, right up until their interview and placement. This is a multifaceted customer facing role, requiring exceptional written and oral communication skills.

The role entails extensive Employer Engagement (EE) as well as some Student Support (SS), the split being 70% EE and 30% SS. The candidate will therefore be confident and proactive. They will possess strong sales and negotiation skills and be driven to deliver on targets. Candidates must have experience within a similar role. Candidates must also:
* Possess a Level 3 Qualification in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing
* Have excellent organisation and planning skills
* Have a passion for success
* Possess a UK driving licence and have access to a car.

The ideal candidate will be professional, thrive when engaging with learner’s and embrace the BDC brand. The candidate will therefore be confident and proactive. They will possess strong negotiation skills and be driven to deliver on targets.

The role sits within the Employer Engagement team, Apprenticeships. The working week is Monday -Thursday 08:30 -17:00, Fridays 08:30-15:30 (36 hours). The working pattern is hybrid with Employer Engagement Officers working onsite at Rush Green, Romford on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In addition, they are required to work onsite as and when the need arises
