Estimator

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

I am currently looking for an experienced estimator to work for a well know M&E Contractor.

The established company have several high-profile clients who they have built long lasting relationships which has ensured continued success within the company. They offer a full range of mechanical and engineering assisting from install to maintenance.

Role: Estimator

Offices based: Essex

Location: Based in the office and on site in and around London

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000

Responsibilities:

Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents

Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for new contracts

Working with contract manager and quantity surveyors

Maintaining and developing relationships with clients

Compiling bids for work

Presenting bids to clients and answering their questions

Preparing and submitting quotations for work.

Working with contract manager and quantity surveyors

Maintaining and developing relationships with clients

Prepare and submit financial documents

Requirements:

HNC / HND in Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or equivalent

3 years’ experience

working within mechanical and electrical works

Excellent communication skills
