Contracts Manager

We are currently looking for capable Design and Build Contracts Manager to work with a market leading commercial interior main contractor. The correct Contract Manager will meet the following criteria:
• SMSTS certified
• Degree qualified (or equivalent)
• Qualification in Building/ Construction (MCIOB etc)
• CSCS Certified, to black Manager’s card is preferred
• First Aid at Work
• Asbestos Awareness
• Full UK Driving Licence

Role Description:
Projects vary in location, size, usually projects can range from £100k- £12 million. The correct Contracts Manager will be managing multiple sites, overseeing Site Managers and Subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered to the client’s satisfaction, in a timely, and health and safety compliant manner. Must be able to create and work from programmes autonomously.

The correct Contracts Manager will have previously worked within a design and build environment and not only fitout. There are strong design elements to this role, therefore the candidate will be closely working with Designers and must have the ability to contribute and assert their practical site knowledge when necessary. Essential experience of controlling all financial aspects of a project from pre construction stage and negotiation on all aspects of site costs is a must. Increasing the margin on projects is of paramount importance for this role.
Job hoppers and freelancers will not be considered. The correct candidate will be from a respectable and stable working background of at least 2 years held within a previous design and build commercial interior main contractor.

Package Details:
Basic salary can range and is commensurate with experience. Typical salaries can range from £66,000 – £102,000package, car allowance etc.
