The opportunity:

We are currently supporting a key customer of ours on their search to appoint a Mobile Engineer to join their well-established team across Hertfordshire & Cambridge.

Supporting the exiting team with PPM & reactive maintenance across several sites across Hertfordshire & Cambridge, mostly consisting of commercial office blocks, our client is looking for an individual to cover Hertfordshire & Cambridge, where a vehicle and fuel card is offered on top of a generous £48,000salary.

As a Mobile Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following:

Be familiar with commonly used building systems including but not limited; Pumps & motors, Heating & Cooling systems, Ventilation systems, BMS controls, L8 Water monitoring, Emergency light testing, Fire alarm testing.

Use our phone based CAFM system to report on jobs, liaise with clients and tenants when needed, Available for call outs out of hours usually 1 week in 4, Available for weekend or other out of hours works on an ad hoc basis. If works requires, and its practical they may be issued with a vehicle.

Responsibilities – Completing planned maintenance of multiple sites, Using company software to complete job reports, Respond to call out requests, Be presentable, wear the company uniform, Keep training up to date & work safely.

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer who has the following skills and qualifications:

At least 5 years’ experience of maintaining commercial buildings. Will have an electrical, mechanical, or plumbing background to NVQ / C&G qualifications, will be able to work alone, as well as part of a team and complete planned maintenance tasks.
