The opportunity:

We are currently supporting a key customer of ours on their search to appoint a Foot Mobile Engineer to join their well-established team across London.

Supporting the exiting team with PPM & reactive maintenance across several sites across the City of London, mostly consisting of commercial office blocks, our client is looking for an individual to cover Zones 1-2 in London, where a zones 1-4 travel card will be offered in addition to some other very lucrative benefits.

As a Foot Mobile Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following:

Be familiar with commonly used building systems including but not limited; Pumps & motors, Heating & Cooling systems, Ventilation systems, BMS controls, L8 Water monitoring, Emergency light testing, Fire alarm testing.

Use our phone based CAFM system to report on jobs, liaise with clients and tenants when needed, Available for call outs out of hours usually 1 week in 4, Available for weekend or other out of hours works on an ad hoc basis. If works requires, and its practical they may be issued with a vehicle.

Responsibilities – Completing planned maintenance of multiple sites, Using company software to complete job reports, Respond to call out requests, Be presentable, wear the company uniform, Keep training up to date & work safely.

We are looking for a Foot Mobile Engineer who has the following skills and qualifications:

At least 5years experience of maintaining commercial buildings. Will have an electrical, mechanical or plumbing background to NVQ / C&G qualifications, will be able to work alone, as well as part of a team and complete planned maintenance tasks. Will be based with 1hr of the City of London. May also be required to drive to some sites and will have a full driving license

The Offer:

£48,000 – £54,000depending on experience and qualifications, per year, subject annual review. Join the company bonus scheme following probation period, (not guaranteed but typically between 5% and 10% of basic salary) Travel card for zones 1 to 4, Any travel to sites outside zones 1-4 will be paid for by the company. An allowance of £100 for every week on call.
