Pcb Service & Repair Technician

Salary: £26,000 per year

We have an opportunity for an Electronics Service and Repair Technician to join a great company in Brighton where you’ll be servicing and repairing PCBs, diagnosing faults on printed circuit boards and reworking down to component level by hand and using SMT.

We are looking for someone with a qualification in Electronics or equivalent experience in servicing and repairing electronics down to component level including PCB (Printed Circuit Boards). The role may also be suitable for a Graduate or equivalent in Electronics with some experience or strong project work.

You will be responsible for:

* Fault Finding, test and repair of electronic components

* Working with the Production Cells, Team Leaders and Managers

* Logging and presenting fault data

* Interpreting Quality data

* Reworking faults by hand and hand soldering

Ideally you’ll hold a HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent in Electronics and be able to read schematics and diagnose faults. Experience with SMT (surface mount) is desirable too.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity and will be Salary: £26,000per year (equivalent of £26,000 per year) with regular salary reviews in place as training progresses.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Fridays 7.30am – 12.30pm.
