Salary: £26,000 – £32,760 per year
Service Care Health currently have a vacancy for an experienced Healthcare Assistant in Milton Keynes, within an NHS intermediate care unit.
Working as a HCA within an intermediate care unit, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, enabling rehabilitation and self-care with you patients whilst reporting all outcomes to the qualified nurses. You must implement the planned programmes of care for the patients under the supervision of the qualified nurses and report any incidents.
You must have previous experience in a caring role, preferably in a hospital environment, with understanding of the needs of the older person. An NVQ level 2 in Direct Care or an equivalent is essential.
