Health & Social Care Trainer Assessor – Sussex

Are you experienced in the Health & Social Care Industry, to management level, with experience in more than one area of expertise? Are you a qualified and experienced or newly qualified NVQ Assessor?

A private training provider specialising in the Health & Social Care Industry is looking for a NVQ/ QCF Trainer Assessor to join their team in Sussex delivering qualifications up to level 5 hence Registered Managers Award or Leadership and Management for care services L5 is required.

This role is being offered on a F/T permanent basis where you will be working out in the field across the region assessing learners in the workplace across the locations such as Chichester, Crawley and Hastings. Regular travel to Northampton for standardisation meetings will also be required.

This exciting position will allow you to draw on your experience of the Care industry to provide learners in their workplaces with support and training, enabling them to realise their career potential.

Your specific responsibilities will include:
* Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing/tutoring them in their NVQ/QCF qualifications
* Delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks, including Functional Skills, BTEC (Tech Cert), ERR & PLTS
* Maintaining documentation on learners’ progression
* Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners
* Delivering learner portfolios to agreed standards
* Working as part of a regional team
* Building and developing relationships with Employers

The ideal candidate will have a background in the Care industry, ideally working in a variety of environments and roles within residential and domiciliary care to managerial level with adult/elderly service users. LMC or RMA qualification at level 5 is essential.

The role is only open to qualified and experienced or newly qualified/novice assessors.

Qualified candidates will have either D32/D33/A1 or TAQA and have experience delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks out in the workplace. In addition you will have the relevant sector experience to management level and supporting industry qualifications.

For all candidates it is essential that you have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and manage your own time.
