Accounts Senior

Our client, a well-established Practice based in Nuneaton, are seeking an Accounts Senior for a varied and interesting role.
The position would be best suited to someone with experience, gained in practice, of accounts preparation, bookkeeping and with some knowledge of corporate and personal tax.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
* Some audit work
* Preparing company tax computations
* Producing management accounts
* Processing VAT returns
* Bookkeeping duties
* Attending and supporting on external audits
An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice, preferably ACA/ACCA qualified, or a finalist/part qualified, however “qualified by experience” will also be taken into account. Proficiency in the use of accountancy software packages is essential, although not essential as training and support will be available. Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word is a prerequisite.

Study support will be considered in order to progress with professional qualifications.
Some travel to client premises is a requirement of this role therefore a car driver would be preferential.
