Accounts Receivable Administrator

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

I am currently working closely with a top commercial property business based in Canary Wharf, who due to a series of upcoming receivables projects, are looking to recruit an experienced AR Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

The role will begin by focusing on the firms backlog of unallocated cash that has accrued over the last 18 months and requires a skilled and patient receivables professional to work systematically through the work to completion. Following this, there will be several other project to engage with, with the role having potential to become permanent in due course.

Responsibilities:

Partcipate in different projects within the AR team
Ensure unallocated cash is kept to a minimum and liase with tenants for refunds or allocations
Manage AR outlook inboxes
Email invoice copies to tenants when requested
Provide adhoc support to the chasing of tenants if needed
Provide statement of accounts and calculate manual adjustments & interestCandidate requirements:

Proven accounts receivable, collections and allocations experience
Demonstrable organisational skills – ability to multitask and prioritise workload
Evidence of strong communication skills, written and verbal, numeric and descriptive
Ability to spot discrepancies and investigate to resolution
Good understanding of accounting processes (Advantageous)
Knowledge of billing/cashiering and banking processes
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Proactive mindset – ability to implement improvement in all aspects of the role
