Salary: £26,000per year dependent upon experience

Temporary Part Time Account Assistant

The Role:

Our client is looking to add a Part Time Accounts Assistant to its expanding accounts department. You will have the following skills, experiences and attributes…

* Ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments if necessary, as per the company’s debt collection procedure
* Effectively dealing with customer account queries / complaints, including liaising with other departments, to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion
* Preparing, printing & posting invoices each working day & statements each month
* Display a confident and assertive manner at all times when dealing with internal and external customers
* All other reasonable administrative duties related to the finance function, including filing and archiving

Temporary Part Time Accounts Assistant

The Candidate

* Minimum of 5 GSCE’s (A-C, * Math’s and English included)
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in all aspects of a busy finance function
* Confident, professional and assertive manner (both face to face and telephone)
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail / accuracy levels
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Honesty and trustworthiness
* Ability to work accurately under pressure
* Strong computer skills (preferably Microsoft packages, specifically Excel)
* Evidence of working on own initiative
* Clear and concise communicator
