Bid Writer

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

Our client is an award-winning construction company based in Greater Manchester. They continue to grow year-on-year and are looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join their highly performing and ambitious team. You will work collaboratively with an already established and successful team to write, prepare, review and submit quality bids.

What will the role include? (not an exhaustive list)….

• Being an integral part of the Strategic Bids Team, the purpose of which is to support the operational business to deliver growth through winning new, sustainable work. 
• Supporting the development of the written offer from initial planning, through preparation and review to final document.
• Building and maintaining close links within the business.
• Understanding internal and external customer requirements.
• Managing the bid writing process for individual projects including attending site visits.
• Leading the preparation of framework bids.

Requirements….

• At least five years experience in a bid writing role.
• Experience of the construction industry.
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is desirable.
