As a direct service provider, Liverpool Streetscene Services Ltd are responsible for the refuse and recycling collection service, street cleansing, grounds maintenance, highways maintenance and parks and green space maintenance contracts throughout the city of Liverpool. These services are key to ensuring the city of Liverpool remains clean, green and accessible to all, helping to develop and maintain local civic pride.

Scale 4 SCP 9 – £20,903
We are seeking to recruit Grounds Maintenance Driver Operatives to carry out various grounds maintenance related duties in our Parks & Cemeteries Service Areas.
The main purpose of these roles will be to assist with the general grounds maintenance of grassed areas, shrub beds, rose beds, seasonal bedding displays, lawns, hedges and hard surface paths.
The successful candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills and have experience of dealing with members of the public. You must be conscientious, flexible and proactive with the ability to work as part of a team and follow instruction as required.
To fulfil the requirement of this role the post holder will hold a UK driving licence and have knowledge of grounds maintenance related plant, machinery and equipment and should be able to work in an outdoor environment all year round.
A minimum of two years previous experience within horticulture / grounds maintenance is desirable but is not essential.
