Salary- £14.4hr

I have an immediate opportunity for a time served Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical with some Electrical fault finding, isolation.

Job Description.

Overhauling and maintaining Conveyors, Plant and machinery, gearboxes, Hydraulics, Crushers, Sifters, Trommels, Bailers and associated equipment for waste recycling plants. Heavy Plant machinery, Shovels, CAT Machinery, Diesel Generators. You must have experience on Mobile Plant, this is 50% of the role.

The shift pattern allows time to work on items of Plant after the normal day shift operators leave, putting time asside for PM schedules, servicing etc, so reducing down time during normal hours, as well as attending breakdowns.

Ideally you will be multi skilled, however time served Mechanical fitters/Technicians/Diesel Fitters with basic electrical fault finding skills would suit this role. The electrical work is not in depth, i.e. Isolation, some fault finding, disconnection and re-connection of Motors, Generators etc.

There will be an element of Fabrication/Welding-i.e. Guard repairing etc.

The work is varied, working for a well respected forward thinking company involved in Waste Recycling.
