IT Support Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: up to £30,000
I have a brilliant opportunity for an IT support engineer to join a well established IT solutions company based in Nottingham. They have been going for over 15 years and are a Microsoft Partner supporting a number of companies throughout the east midlands. You will join the established technical services team where you will provide IT support to business customers.
Main Responsibilities
– Telephone and remote IT support
– Onsite installations including servers, workstations, firewalls, networks etc.
– Microsoft Server installation, management and admin.
– Admin and installing VMware and Hyper-V
Technologies
– Windows Server 2008/12
– VMware / Hyper-V
– Exchange 2007/10/13
– DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN
– Hosted / Cloud services
– Networks
– Backup technologies
– Firewalls
– Remote desktop
– SQL
– Business applications (SAGE etc)
Holding your MCP / MCSA / MCTS qualification is a big advantage, as well as prior experience in an IT support role.
The role is based just outside of Nottingham so is easily commutable from Derby, Mansfield, Matlock and Chesterfield.
