Trainee Technical Operator

Our client a prestigious manufacturing company who supply to the food and cosmetics industries currently have an exciting new opportunity at their facility in Bury St Edmunds.
The purpose of this position is to after training become an integral part of the distillation team.
Duties and responsibilities will include
• Operate distillation process units, including all ancillary equipment and control systems
• Provide an out of hours analytical support in the completion of laboratory tasks
• Some interpretation of laboratory data and processes will be required
• Troubleshooting and processing of performance issues
• Follow a strategic training schedule in order to develop a career within operation
Skills and Attributes
• Educated to A-level or equivalent standard or be experienced in a science related discipline
• Ideally some experience within a manufacturing environment
• Candidates must be flexible and happy to work a shift rotation
