Technical Sales Engineer

Salary: £38,400 – £42,000 per year

My Client a leading and highly successful CNC Machining business are looking for a  Technical Sales Engineer to help support the growth of the business. 

They concentrate on high value and technical CNC milling and turning applications, Supplying a wide variety of different industries including Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Oil and Gas plus many more delivering a consistently high quality and reliable service to our customers and has a discernable customer-based focus – No challenge is too large for us.

The position involves:

·Customer based development ( search out new customers and projects and foster a business relationship)

·Quotation development for highly-technical CNC projects

·Change, improve, enhance internal business process pertaining to quoting, order processing, work order dispatch, along with other related projects

·Working off own initiative

·Read and understand engineering drawings

The Ideal Candidate:

·Is technically minded and has CNC machine background

·Hands on machining experience

·Understands methods of manufacture

·Is organised and can work efficiently

·Is computer literate

• Has exceptional communication skills in oral and written forms
• Has the skills to develop CNC quotations and offers for customers and prospects
• Is able to create leads and opportunities with existing and potential customers
• Must operate cross-functionally as a member of a team
• Has the skills to analyse customer applications in order to propose solutions
