Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Construction Buyer, Hull, C £35,000 – £40,000

Our client is a well-established, successful company who are looking to appoint a Construction Buyer or Purchaser in this newly appointed role. Our client has enjoyed many years of success winning new projects throughout the UK and continue to do so at an enviable pace.

Construction Buyer Overview:

As the Construction Buyer / Purchaser you will be responsible for material, plant and sub-contract procurement for contracts throughout the UK.

Responsibilities include:

* Sourcing and developing suppliers

* Procurement of materials, plant and sub-contract labour

* Planning, scheduling of deliveries

* Liaising with estimating, QS, project management and site staff on availability of products

* Managing the full supply chain

* Working with suppliers from tender stage

We are looking for a Construction Buyer, Purchaser, Purchasing Manager or Procurement Manager with a good work history of managing building or refurbishment projects throughout the full supply chain. You should be able to demonstrate an ability to manage supplier relationships to a successful conclusion in order to ensure delivery on time, in full.
