System Test Engineer
We have just been given a requirement from a unique client based in Berkshire working at the peak of todays wireless technology. They have continued to be recognised as a world leader and their experienced success had led to them needed to expand their system testing team.
The successful candidate will be involved in the system level testing of wireless products (802.16r; LTE; WiMAX 802.16e). You will work in an environment that encourages personal career development and gain exposure so some of the latest cutting edge technologies.
To apply for system testing this role you should have experience with:
– Knowledge of wireless telecom systems (e.g. 3GPP, LTE, WiMAX, Wi-Fi).
– Working experience in testing wireless products.
– The ability to use relevant lab test equipment (e.g. spectrum analysers).
– Some experience or knowledge of Networking e.g. IP protocol, UDP, uni-cast, broadcast etc.
Experience of IP test tools and methodologies as well as Linux experience would be advantageous but this is not essential.
